Overview
Tainan, Taiwan’s historic capital with centuries of cultural heritage, is renowned for its rich local arts scene and the cultural sophistication of its residents. It has long been a gathering place for many of Taiwan’s most significant art collectors.
Building on the success of the previous year, the Association of Galleries of the Republic of China once again organized the Tainan Art Fair, positioning southern Taiwan as the focal point of this major art event. The fair aimed to bring together leading galleries from across the island, drawing on the cultural strength of the region to activate the long-cultivated art-collecting energy of the South.
More importantly, through its innovative and refined hotel-style exhibition format, the fair provided a high-quality platform for exchange within Taiwan’s art industry, fostering interaction and dialogue between southern collectors and galleries from both the northern and southern regions.
