Kaohsiung’s art scene has accumulated rich creative energy, with numerous artists gathering in the city to present a passionate artistic experience distinctly different from that of Taipei.

Co-organized by the Kaohsiung Modern Painting Association and the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government, the first edition of Art Kaohsiung aimed to establish an international platform for artistic exchange.

For this occasion, Han Art specially presented works by nine Ukrainian artists. Ukrainian artists are known for their strong cultural foundations and broad intellectual horizons. Their paintings engage with philosophy, history, religion, astronomy, geography, mythology, and even the natural sciences, making them highly valuable contributions to the contemporary art market.

Their works serve as a meaningful window into the understanding of contemporary Ukrainian painting.
