Introduction

Roman Nogin is a gentle, kind, quiet, and focused person. 他There are various recurring topics in his art, such as the Jazz series that depicts jazz singers and their performances, or the The Memory of Cities collection that reflects on history and civilization. His Romance series, centered around women, is the most publicized in Asia. He is intent on capturing the plurality of sentiments and characters of the female gender: his paintings enclose the lingering scent of perfume reminiscent of a fanciful encounter with a beautiful woman.

Artist profile

Born in city of Kharkov in 1976, Roman Nogin completed a degree in Art and Theatre at the Kharkov State Art College in 1994. In 1999, he graduated from the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts with a Master’s in Mural and Decorative Art. In 2001, Nogin became a member of the Kharkov chapter of the Union of the Artists of Ukraine.
